1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and business profile information (business name, industry, website URL, target audience description).

Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details — Stripe handles this securely.

Usage Data: We log which features you use, AI content generated, and emails sent to improve the service and provide analytics.

Third-Party Connections: If you connect social media accounts, we store OAuth tokens to post on your behalf. We only access the permissions you explicitly grant.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Kindled platform
  • To generate AI-powered marketing content tailored to your business
  • To send emails and newsletters on your behalf
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To communicate service updates and support

3. Email & Outreach

Kindled sends emails on your behalf using your configured sending domain. All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link in compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations.

We do not sell, rent, or share email subscriber lists. Your contacts belong to you.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate Kindled:

  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Resend — email delivery
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI content generation
  • Inngest — background job processing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication, HMAC-signed tokens, and role-based access controls. API keys and secrets are stored server-side only and never exposed to client browsers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and business content within 30 days, except where required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
